Imbesat Ahmad is a serial entrepreneur having a decade of experience in the education sector. An IIT graduate, he is an advocate of equalizing educational opportunities. Prior to Filo, he founded a social startup called RISE that transformed the approach of the youth of Kashmir towards higher education. Imbesat has taught and mentored more than 25,000 students and guided more than 500 students to premium institutes from IITs and NITs to Princeton, University of Penn., Purdue, and NYU among others.

Identifying massive whitespace in the way information and learning are processed, Imbesat built Filo. Filo makes it possible for students to connect with teachers within 60 seconds for a live one-on-one learning session. Providing pedagogy-as-aservice, it’s the world’s first ‘Instant Live tutoring’ platform!
