Lokesh Daga spills the beans on bootstrapping to a 100 cr revenue | (D2C growth story)
If you've shopped for luggage online, chances are you've seen Nasher Miles' stylish products on Amazon or Flipkart.
The name Nasher originates from the Persian term "Nasher-Kardan”- “Nasher” meaning "publishing” while "Miles" symbolises each step of a traveller's journey.
Despite its not-so-Indian- sounding name, Nasher Miles is a rare Indian D2C success story, entirely self-funded.
Nasher Miles makes cool and useful trolley bags for travellers who care both about looks and convenience.
While eagerly awaiting their bags at the airport terminal one fine day, the founders noticed the boring baggage scene. This inspired them to pack up the ordinary and create a brand that's all about thinking outside the suitcase!
Lokesh built up what could arguably be called the next generation of an Indian family-run business, surpassing 100 crores in annual revenue without external funding.
Delve into Lokesh Daga's journey, explore his insights on building a D2C business in India, the offline vs online advantages, and Nasher Miles' path to becoming a 1000 cr business!
