Unlocking Human Potential | Josh Talks
"My loyalty is not to Josh but to unlocking human potential."
A school dropout, a state level Tennis player, India’s youngest qualifier of the elite “Paris - Brest - Paris” International cycling event, founder of two NGOs - Sach & Half Glass Full, a Forbes 30 Under 30 entrepreneur, and the CEO & Founder of Josh Talks - Shobhit Banga can be described in many ways. But what defines him best is his quest for unlocking human potential.
Before Josh Talks, Shobhit aspired to become an endurance cyclist & participated in the elite cycling event “Paris - Brest - Paris”. To qualify he completed a 600 km trail cycling non-stop for over 31 hours with only 7 minutes to spare for some sleep!
Mind-blowing right?! But what's even more incredible is that it is during his days as an endurance cyclist that Shobhit discovered his purpose & mission. This then led to the genesis of Josh Talks, a startup he founded to inspire India’s young minds.
I sat down for a chat with Shobhit to learn about his fascinating offbeat journey- right from his small-town life of Kullu, to pursuing sports as a career goal - cycling 600kms nonstop, his experience at the Harvard Summer School, starting Josh Talks, losing focus & finally re-connecting with his mission of inspiring young minds.
An incredible journey with lots to learn from.
